My name is Sean Bremner and I am a system administrator, writer, nature lover and nomadic farmer from South Africa. I have worked professionally as a writer for more than ten years, but have also worked in IT doing a range of different things, from tech support to system administration to off-grid networking. I’ve worked on and managed organic farms around Southern Africa, and also spent some time managing a guest farm and eco-village on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
I am especially interested in Free (libre) and Open Source software, and I strongly believe in privacy as a human right. I am a passionate advocate for climate change mitigation, which led to me to pursuing sustainable agriculture, and I now also work part time as a content manager and data specialist at a DNA sequencing lab based in the United States.
